I'm thrilled that my country, the Republic of Moldova is this year's honored guest at Bookfest - the International Book Fair in Bucharest. Right in the heart of the fair, we'll have a stand showcasing books from our country.
How should a country present itself at a book fair? What do we say about ourselves? We approached this task with elegance, simplicity, irony, and warmth. The visual idea is inspired by the drawings of Glebus Sainciuc, with the tagline „Te cuprind, Republica Moldova". „I give you a warm hug” would be a close translation. Because that's what we, Moldovans, say every day to people we love. Now we will say it to the whole world.
We have a very compact and efficient team, working hard both in Chișinău and Bucharest. With love, obviously 😊.
